Join us for this unique training opportunity that combines the ukulele, drumming, and 'island' music. Strum & Drum is for teachers, facilitators, and anyone who loves music and people.
Learn several world music arrangements of popular island-style songs. Perfect for upper elementary, middle school, high school ensembles or community groups. Improve your own musicianship and have fun at the same time. Graduate-level CEUs available.
DCM courses teach community music facilitation skills through immersion in active play. Participants learn drum circle facilitation, interactive drumming, rhythm games, traditional drumming, song-leading, and verbal processing techniques. Courses are taught by Kalani, MT-BC and align with professional standards in music education, music therapy and related professions. July 14-19, 2013 in Los Angeles
