Welcome to Flute Aloha

Flute Aloha is a small-group music retreat where flute players develop performance skills with professional musicians as guides

Participants receive personalized coaching as they work with skilled musicians. Audio and video recordings help reveal improvement areas through both the preparation and performance process.

Flute Aloha is best suited for experienced and motivated individuals who feel comfortable playing songs and improvising with other musicians.

What to Expect

FLUTE ALOHA helps you develop as a musician by guiding you through performances designed to shine a light on your strengths and areas of development.

With  their decades of experience playing in professional settings, Suzanne, Kalani, and Gilbert will offer valuable lessons for playing in ensembles, such as visual and body cues, experiencing  deep listening and musical interplay, and learning how to create arrangements and rehearse them most efficiently.

We help you design a minimum of four pieces that you will perform for your peers, who along with your coaches, will  provide valuable feedback.

During the process, you'll work with world-class professional musicians who will guide you towards the best possible results. This process will not only provide you with top-quality audio and video recordings, it will help you level-up your skills so you can be ready for the stage or studio.

If you've been considering next-steps for your music making, whether on stage, in the studio, or serving your community, you will receive tailored advice to help you better find your way.

TEAM ALOHA will help you select, prepare and produce your pieces before and during the event.
